The left one is the switch that should close the motor-relais (which should result in a quite audible "clack" near the curtis).Is it one of the nr 17's on the part list
I suggest to be cautious, but there are no hidden springs in it or a puzzle impossible to solve. If in doubt take some photos while opening it. Use a mild alcohol or WD40 to clean it and then grease it with very little industrial vaseline (no cosmetic additives) to run smooth.Are these openable? not that a spring comes flying out of it when i open it?
