EMUS BMS von Elektromotus

Guten Morgen Stromfreunde,

mein Emus läuft inzwischen auch (letztes Problem war noch ein Häkchen zuviel bei "Use Serial cell communication" Configuration->General, da ich groupmodule verwende)

Mein momentanes Problem ist, dass ich mir nich sicher bin wie ich meinen Lader (GWL/Power Charger 72V/35A for LiFePO4 )anschliessen muss.
Das Emus hat den Ausgang "charger" der den Lader wohl ein und aus schaltet. Wie teile ich aber mit, dass jetzt balanciert werden soll und der Lader mit der Leistung runter geht? Der Gwl lädt entweder mit 35A oder mit 3A

Ich poste hier mal etwas off-Topic: ich habe mein EMUS BMS für 34 Zellen mit 2 Can-Modulen, Solid State Relais und Bluetooth Adapter günstig abzugeben!!!

Produktion 2013 direkt von Elektromotus, bezahlt ca. 950 Eur für Eur 450 zu verkaufen!!!

Defekte Teile wurden bereits ausgetauscht - also voll funktionstüchtig!

Ich brauche jedoch ein einfacheres, robusteres System für mein Oldtimer-Konzept - mir fehlt die Zeit für ein komplexes BMS wie das von emus, bei Interesse also bitte melden! :spos:

leider ist der Akku so grottenschlecht, dass nach 20 min. Schluss mit Anzeige.
Eigentlich sollte doch EMUS 5V am USB Anschluss liefern?
Oder sehe ich das Falsch. Habe ich was falsch eingestellt?

Das nenne ich ein Angebot. Ich habe genau das kürzlich installiert, was Du jetzt verkaufst. Muss aber sagen, es braucht ein wenig Geduld bis alles läuft, aber dann muss man schon zugeben es ist halt doch sehr gut. Würde mich sehr interessieren, was Du als "einfacher" beurteilst. Hast Du schon etwas im Auge?

Oder für 4-24 Zellen das Little Tom BMS?

Ja - das 123electric ist ein Ableger vom Emus (und das wiederum vom Elithion pro)- wieder viel zu kompliziert und programmierbar.
Ich brauche was Plug-& Play-mässiges, von mir aus auch analog, nicht unbedingt digital!
Ich habe 34 Zellen mit 115V, von daher wird das Tom nicht ausreichen.

Da ich selber ein Emus besitze stellt sich mir folgende Frage.

Ich habe ein sehr gutes Messgerät welches kürzlich geeicht wurde. Also als genau betrachtet werden kann. Die Zellspannung lt. Emus weicht jeweils um 100-120mV von der gemessenen Spannung lt. Messgerät ab.

Kann eine derartige ungenauigkeit sein? Bzw. Könnt ihr das bestätigen?

Hi,

leider habe ich kein geeichtes Mesgerät. Aber es ist bereits vierstellig und eigentlich ganz gut.
Jetzt am WE habe ich bemessen und konnte eigentlich nur eine Abweichung von max. 10-15mV feststellen. Emus zeigt ja nur 2-stellig hinter dem Komma an. Auch mit einem andren Messgerät bekam ich die gleichen Ergebnisse.

I have found this forum via internet search and saw that some of you guys are having problems with Emus BMS. I have several years of experience with it and I think I will be able to help you on most questions.

Specified accuracy for Cell Modules is ±18mV, so it is very strange that you have such high measurement error. Is this error visible on only one cell, or all cells? If all, probably your meter needs re-calibration. Also you can try other meter.
If it is one cell only, probably Cell Module was damaged and needs a replacement.

I´ve got one Question: I can communicate with PC Win7 and Laptop Win8 via USB very well.
But with my Samsung S2 Plus Smartphone i´ve got no Communication to EMUS. I also tried the Samsung USB Adapter. Do you knew why?

Hello Reindi,

Emus Control Unit has only one internal communication line, shared by USB and RS232 (bluetooth adapter is using RS232). USB has a higher priority. So, if USB is connected, bluetooth will not work (it will connect and pair, but no data will be sent or received). Android device can also be connected via USB, however there are some requirements. First, the phone/tablet must support USB-OTG and have a dedicated port or special adapter cable. Also, as far as I know, it must be rooted properly. So bluetooth is definitely easier to use.
If that will not help, I will ask around to get a better answer for you.

thank you for answering. Now i´ve got connection, but the display shows false data. For Examlpe it shows only 5 from 16 cells??
Now the Homepage offers a new Update. What is new there. is a update recommendet?

Hello Reindi,

If I recall correctly, there were several options for connection type (on Android application). One of those is Demo, where device will display pre-recorded demonstration data. Setting is available on setting menu of the app.
If connected via Bluetooth, correct data should be shown.. If you have problems, you can always try newer (or older) version of software. Just backup your current version, in case you want to go back.
If you decide to upgrade BMS firmware, make sure to review all parameters and test all functions before using the battery, as new versions sometimes include some new features and those might conflict with your current settings.

Heute habe ich, so denke ich jedenfalls, herausgefunden, dass die Komunikationsabbrüche die bei Emus mal Thema waren, was mit der Versorgungsspannung zu tun haben.
Mittlerweile hatte ich zwar keine Abbrüche mehr.
Aber zur Sache: Da es heute bitterkalt war (-11°C) ist meine 12V Bordbatterie zusammengebrochen.
Meine Bordspannung lag teilweise unter 11V. Dabei hatte ich schon während er Fahrt Komunikationsabbrüche vom Emus angezeigt bekommen. Offensichtlich eine Funktion der Bordspannung. Ich habe als DC/DC einen Sevcon drinnen der ohnehin nur etwa knapp 13V liefert.
Hat jemand änhliche Beobachtungen gemacht?

auch ich habe nun meine Erfahrungen mit dem EMUS-BMS gemacht. Und ich muss sagen, das Teil ist genial. Der Einbau, und die Einrichtung haben problemlos geklappt. Erwähnen möchte ich noch, dass ich im BMS die Akku-Kapazität mit 140 Ah eingestellt habe, und alle Werte vom BMS auf dieser Basis berechnet wurden. Zu erkennen an dem Wert Capacity: 504000 C. Das EMUS-BMS stellt die Kapazität in Colombs dar, dabei entsprechen 3.600 Colombs einer Ah. Es könnte also noch 14% mehr Reichweite sein...
