Hi, friends!

I made some modifications to my disk.
It look a litle bit ugly but now disk is twise stronger.
I have almost 2 drive back wheels.
I set disk to slide only in very, very extreem torqure.
Reibungsscheibe is ok - it is still alive.
El run very well now i can say.
Soon i will show to you a picture.

I find vulkolan here - will call tomorrow to supplyer. It will be good to have this material home.


By the way one friend also buy EL - now i will import to him BMS and charger from China from my people. And soon we will be with one more EL in Sofia.

i had mounted two tellerfeder instead of one ( the metal thing which preses down the Friction plate ) I Think the front wheel tire was consumptet faster than usual because the car wanted to go straight ahead and the front wheel rubbed a little bit

i´m Wolfgang , that one who found a better friction to the right wheel
but it´s a bit problemfull to install it exactli.
but let me ask at first some questions
1. do you havee those old disc-spring that was on the right wheels of the el´s some jears ago??
2. do you have a plastic friction ring glued on/in your right wheel?
i had tryed many different materials in the last 5 years untill i found the
right one it is a materiel like hard rubber,named VULKOLAN (70-80shore hard)
i had glued this in the disc-spring of my el, and in connection with the plastic friction ring it is not like a differential, but it gives much more movement to the right wheel, and makes no noice by driving around corners...
for newer els, that dont have those spring-disc´s i produce a stainless steel disc, as substitude, but therefor it is complikated to adjust,!!!!!!!
because to much pressure will destroy the vulkolan (by blowing out)
and to less pressure let it not works right, .......
and the difference must be adjusted with shims between 0,1 and 0,5mm this is "lets have a try"
but it is a cheep way to make the drive better...
one Vulkolan.3mmx103x103 cost 9,88 Euro
3mm stainless-steel plate lasered cost 8,65 Euro
complet set sandblasted, ruoghened and glued cost 22 euro
some alternative is the tourque (rutschnabe) by atlanta http://www.atlantagmbh.de/?id=279
but the price (about 140 euro and it must be espezialetet
but therefor you must contakt R.M he has told me that

My computer just die after electricity stop one time... After that computer die..
So i am in forum after a long time..

I think that there is nothing that can help to me better than a good pictures of all this about we talk.

I have a old disk-spring i use it but it is very soft and it is almost detah...
Also main axle is litle bit damged becouse of damaged hole in the disk-spring..(There is a litle slack)
I make some "tuning" to disk-spring(about slack) - work well few weeks But will be not in good condition so long.. In this period there was no slack..
About plastic friction ring: It is still here and is still ok.. I glue it every month.
I can`t glue it in the way it must be .. I mean i can`t glue it well for a long time.

You must know that i am far away from Germany.

So i must care for my El alone ..Very sad... I am only one who know something about El here..
