Einstellwerkzeug für die Vorderachse, wer hat eins zum verleihen oder eine Zeichnung?

Alan, any news on a drawing with measurements? I need to assemble front wheel assembly soon and i'd like to make the tool for helping to adjust it correctly.

Mini-El hood on City - sort of ...

I already have a series 1 front on my other vehicle, and it's nice to have two different. In my opinion the front on series 1 is a bit of a hack job. I shaved the bottom part of the new lamp unit to make it fit, so no going back. But i'm not done, still needs some adjustments, but another...

Mini-El hood on City - sort of ...

I believe the front is made from a kind of very hard PU-foam, just a more dense kind than on the Mini, so melting it is not an option. If I only cut from the bottom it's not visible from the outside. I'm all for reconstructing with 3D-print, but this is a really big piece. Not easy!

    Wassereinbruch im Frontbereich

I am the Danish driver that made Sasha post in here. Thanks Sasha! I was out today to document some differences in the old and newer body style Mini/City and I may have an explanation why it isn't a problem for most users in here with City's to have water ingress in the front. There is this...

Mini-El hood on City - sort of ...

I believe my post makes absolutely no sense without some pictures that describe what i'm thinking about, since there is zero answers in a long time ? I am planning to fit the nose portion from a 2000 CityEl to my 1989 MiniEl Series 1. There is some design differences that makes this difficult...

The definitive guide on how to dismount/mount the top hood on Mini-El?

Craft Garage & Enno: I do know how to take off the top and I have done it a few times on my El's Also the Mini-El does not have the mount in the middle of the front frame, only the two front plastic nuts and the 4 in the sides of the dash. What is giving me problem is the plastic corners of...

Mini-El hood on City - sort of ...

Hi. I'm rebuilding a series 1 Mini (1989) with parts from a City from 2000. Drive train has been moved over, steering arrangement, dashboard etc. I still need to do some electrics, but i am getting close (i'm pretty good with electrics so no problems here) I really want to adapt the headlight...

The definitive guide on how to dismount/mount the top hood on Mini-El?

Of course you need to be two persons. Maybe i didn't make that clear that we were at least 2 persons. Alone the weight of the hood makes it impossible to move it alone.

The definitive guide on how to dismount/mount the top hood on Mini-El?

Hi. Looking in the workshop manual it isn't really shown how the top is mounted/dismounted on the Mini-El - the action of doing it without damaging anything. The few times I had to remove the top it's always quite a fight to get the foam-frame in the hood to clear the bottom two corners of the...

    CityEl Tacho - roll over?

Yes, so much i understood from reading the handbook. It just doesn't do anything on mine. Before pressing "send" i went to test the buttons for continuity. Both broken! No signs of moisture damage. I went to find some new buttons in my stockpile but didn't find any with the same height of the...

    CityEl Tacho - roll over?

sure. Code: void setup() { pinMode(9, OUTPUT); } void loop() { digitalWrite(9, HIGH); // turn the optocoupler on. delayMicroseconds(100); // wait for a short moment digitalWrite(9, LOW); // turn the optocoupler off. delayMicroseconds(70); // wait for a short moment } On the Arduino...

    CityEl Tacho - roll over?

Yeah, i guess the designer of the code on the microcontroller made leeway for upgrading the motor and mounting wings ?. It cannot go any faster since it takes too much CPU time (the counting is interrupt-driven) so the LED displays starts flickering wildly and eventually locks up if going any...

    CityEl Tacho - roll over?

It's driving 135 km/minute. Probably the fastest CityEl in existence :D Also, the button under the display, how is it supposed to work? It doesn't react when i press it.

    CityEl Tacho - roll over?

I can report that it indeed rolls over as expected. I connected up a signal generator (Arduino + optocoupler) and left it overnight. Sadly my calculations were a bit off so instead of the count being near 00000 when i went back into the lab today, it was 1900 something. So i'm taking it for a...

    CityEl Tacho - roll over?

Sascha, I'm not planning to, sadly. Too many projects at home at the moment, and it's a very long drive for me (i'm on Sjælland)
