It could be an interim model on the change between El-Jet 1 and 2. This wouldn't be the first to have components from 2 generations of Kewets. E.G. there were El-Jets 3 with a a carcontroller which was 'officially' introduced with the El-Jet 4.original 4 speed gearbox but in gearbox was marked as el-jet 2
Yeah, they tried to make the same move on my El-Jet 4 from 1994, but i had the original 'Zulassungsbescheinigung Part 1' (called 'Fahrzeugbrief' in the old times), which showed them that the car was a proper tested and certified vehicle in 1994 and that there isn't a CoC, which was introduced much, much later.and they need certificate of conformity to give me plates
The larger problem was that the Kewet is not in any Database of the officials so they had to copy the data manually from the old Fahrzeugbrief and introduced some typos. The manufacturer of my car is now not Kewet but Kelwet
