Hi I am not sure if my 1st post was deleted ? anyway I am genuinely looking to become a Cityel owner with a trip to Germany next week..
Just to say hello and I will be around the Bonn area and I am interested to meet up with people who enjoy the Cityel's ...

Hello :)

...............................................

Hi Mark,
why should anyone delete any postings from you? It is not in our very interest to ignore or upset any user, but to treat everyone with courtesy.
Due to not living in the Bonn area and not having a CityEL to sell, i can´t help you. It´s very little time til next week in getting a CityEL, isn´t it?
Did you check the market advised in the navigations upon?

Greetings from Saarland, Sascha

Hello Sascha, I have no idea.. I posted up to say Hi and replied to another post..

then I was looking and reading , so much good information :) and then I looked back to see if any one had replied or said Hi .... but both the posts where gone.. ?? who knows.. may be one of the admin thought it was spam..

I'm not worried I am genuine, Hello All... :)

Yes time Frame not good.. but you know... I should be ok.. I am all geared up to come to view / buy Peter's one from here. He seams a nice chap who has worked with Cityel's for a while.. so I am happy to work with him.. but it's always good to know of others, even if I have to come back later in the year..

But thank you so much for the reply... I so so wish I could speak German but I have to use Google Translate and it works.. I have read up so much information from all you guys posts..

Well I am sure in time with more posts from me your see I just want to be part of the Cityel group and join in the fun :)

So you are very welcome for sure!
Peter, hmpf, we do have lotes of Peters, so you´ll have to be more precise about.
So you found already the Ellert of your dreams, am i right? Otherwise we could help you in finding one.

I should point out that next year the annual danish cityel meeting (so called Ellert Træf) will be placed in northern Germany (Threat concerning). This is a great honor and proof of confidence the danish Ellert scene is giving to us.
Maybe you are also interestet in coming to us?

Btw, writing in English shouldn´t be a problem in 2019, shouldn´t it? Even after Brexit . Sorry, couldn´t resist..

Greetings from Germany, Sascha

13 years !! wow.. just shows if you get a good one they keep going..
Yeah I understand these are older and need some work so it's going to be a learning curve for sure..
but lets hope it's not too hard... and I get some good enjoyment from it..

looking forward to coming to meet Peter next week.. I think chatting with Bert who has spoken to Peter, he has a passion for these little cars so I can make a good contact there for sure..

Hi,
I'll push you both thumbs it takes a while to rebuild all the technology so it fits your needs,
And if you then carry out the necessary maintenance, and have a few spare parts on board, you can go longer stretches without hesitation
bye wolle

Hi Mark,
no matter what parts are concerned, it can be delivered in a short time from several very good dealers:
Battery Cells, BMS and more
The very same and also reliable
All parts for the Ellert. See also the drawings on the left side! Very useful!
Also all parts and a savior in many conditions.

Many EL-drivers do have lots of spare parts, so we can also help each other in case of emergency. Depending on what kind of motor you have (and i strongly hope it is a titan thrige), coales for replacement are useful. Bearings, tires and their inner tubes, fuses and so on.

It is of great usefulness to be able in handling a soldering gun and a voltmeter, of course.

Even after getting out of the eu without a deal, as we all expect after todays proposals published by the prime minister, we will surely we able to send parts in a sort of care packages as well.

Do you already have your Ellert?

Greetings from Germany, Sascha

Hi Sascha, yes I have bought it from Peter off here on this forum.. IN Bonn Germany.. 800mile round trip.. Thank you for the welcome... I have started some thing back home now.. as another Sinclair C5 owner has bought a Cityel a Fact4 from Holland and he is coming over to collect his shortly..

So that's 2 of us new on here looking for advice..

I just need to get some money to geather and buy some new batteries.. Ouch ££

Also I need to send my circuit board off to Alan in Denmark for some modification to the board as my charging circuit is not right and will over charge the new batteries and I don't want to damage them..

I think this Cityel will see me learn lots and then in time I can see me as I improve mine.. sell it to come back to Germany to look for a Fact4 with lipo..

Good morning surfer71,

Since I now have time to read a bit through the Elweb and a very warm welcome from my side. Nice to have someone in the forum, who can inspire for an El. I think it's great that you want to grow lithium batteries. I am also enthusiastic El - driver for a little more than a year and very happy to be part of this forum and you will soon realize that you guys and some girls are very nice and helpful.

Best regards

Sonja
